DOT-SP Ground Operations Acknowledgment

Service Description

This training is designed for ground personnel involved in the acceptance, handling, storage, staging, loading, unloading, and documentation review of shipments transported under a Department of Transportation Special Permit (DOT-SP). The purpose of this acknowledgment training is to ensure that all applicable ground personnel understand the specific DOT-SP conditions, operational limitations, packaging and documentation requirements, segregation or loading restrictions, notification requirements, and company procedures before supporting any DOT-SP shipment. By completing this training, ground personnel acknowledge that they have reviewed the applicable DOT-SP requirements and understand their responsibility to handle the shipment safely and in compliance with 49 CFR, the DOT-SP provisions, and company Dangerous Goods procedures.
